The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists to join a growing property developer with a strong project pipeline and an established presence within the residential development sector.

Working closely with an experienced leadership team, you will gain exposure across the full development lifecycle while supporting the delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects.

This position is ideally suited to an Assistant Development Manager looking to further develop their skills within a collaborative and high-performing environment.

About the Role

• Assist in the management of projects across various stages of the development lifecycle, from acquisition and planning through to delivery and completion.
• Work closely with consultants, contractors, authorities and internal stakeholders to help drive project outcomes.
• Support project feasibility assessments, reporting, budgeting and program management.
• Coordinate project teams and assist with the management of key stakeholder relationships.
• Contribute to the successful delivery of projects to agreed budgets, timeframes and quality standards.

About You

• Experience as an Assistant Development Manager or in a related property development position.
• Exposure to residential development projects, ideally within communities, subdivisions or masterplanned developments.
• Strong understanding of the development process including planning, approvals, design coordination and delivery.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and build strong working relationships.
• Commercial awareness with exposure to project reporting, budgets and feasibility analysis.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a genuine desire to build a long-term career in development.

You Will Possess

• Tertiary qualifications in Property, Construction Management, Engineering, Planning, Commerce or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience supporting development projects through various stages of the lifecycle.
• Exposure to consultant, contractor and stakeholder management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and the ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment.
