About the Role

As our Assistant Centre Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the centre while fostering a positive, high-performing culture for both educators and families.

Working closely with the Centre Manager, you will help lead the team to deliver exceptional education and care while ensuring compliance, occupancy growth, and operational excellence.

In this role, you will:

✅ Support the leadership, mentoring, and development of educators

✅ Drive a positive culture that reflects Affinity's values of Love, Learn and Grow

✅ Build strong relationships with children, families, and the local community

✅ Assist with centre operations, rostering, enrolments, and occupancy growth

✅ Support compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standards (NQS), and company policies

✅ Partner with the Centre Manager to achieve key business and quality outcomes

✅ Foster continuous improvement and a culture of excellence across the service

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

🎓 Bachelor's qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)

👶 Current Working with Children Check

⭐ Previous experience in a leadership role within an early childhood setting

📖 Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)

🤝 Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills

📈 A genuine passion for developing teams, supporting families, and delivering high-quality outcomes for children

💡 A proactive and solutions-focused leadership style
