What’s on offer?
Our Infrastructure Services business is seeking a permanent, full-time Asphalt Plant Operator to join the team at our Mackay facility. This role primarily involves asphalt production, including manual labour, and operating production equipment. During busy periods, there will be opportunities for additional shifts, including nights, and weekends.
Previous experience in asphalt production is preferred, but candidates from related industries are encouraged to apply. Training and support will be provided.
To be successful in this role, you will need to:
Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Be a focused, and reliable team player.
Be able to multi-task effectively.
Hold a current Construction Induction Card (White Card) and valid drivers’ licence.
Have experience operating a front-end loader and/or skid steer.
Have experience working in asphalt plants.
