About the Role
A large Queensland government is seeking an experienced administrator to provide a range of administration support to the operations team! This role provides a broad range of administrative support services and is ideal for someone who enjoys a varied workload, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering accurate and efficient administrative support.
You will play a key role in supporting day-to-day operations across facilities, fleet, assets, records management, procurement and general office administration.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage meeting room bookings and coordinate training room set-ups
  • Order and distribute stationery, PPE and uniforms
  • Complete corporate credit card and fuel card reconciliations across multiple providers
  • Maintain asset registers and process associated documentation
  • Process system access requests and maintain associated records
  • Provide administrative support within the vehicle and fleet space
  • Investigate and close aged work orders and job cards
  • Support reception functions, including phone enquiries, visitors and mail management

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in an administration, project support or business support role
  • Intermediate skills in across Microsoft Office, including Excel
  • Experience managing reconciliations, invoices, purchase orders or related administrative processes
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to assist across a variety of administrative functions
  • Previous experience within construction, property, mining, engineering or government is highly desirable
