About the role:
We are seeking a motivated and detailed oriented Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements, tax returns and providing insightful financial advice.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS and income tax return for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships
- Reconcile accounts and manage month-end and year-end processes
- Provide business advisory services and tax planning strategies
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
- Maintain compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
- Liaise with clients, ATO and other external stakeholders as required
Qualification/skills:
- Bachelor degree or higher in accounting or finance field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in public practice or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Australian taxation laws and accounting standards
- Proficiency in Accounting software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to details and time management
